Treading gently on a natural mosaic

The effect of water and time - barely imaginable amounts of both - on the Scottish shore

I don't think I made much difference (not only here, but everywhere)

Such an intricate mosaic.
Any differences I make are neglible I believe. Which is often comforting.

Yet there remains a unique quality in each and every one.

As in each and every one of us too Susan? Shaped by the washing and grinding and buffeting life gives us?

And Elephant's Child, aren't there several such things about our little lives that can manage to be comforting and disturbing at the same time, depending on how we look at them? The trick is to look the right way, perhaps.

It looks beautiful. I love neutrals.
