Does it really help...

tilting your head to one side to think about something?

Dogs seem to think so, I think. But how could we test? I'll need to think about it.

This made me smile! My pit bull/lab mix, George, has the most adorable head tilt. I think he knows it makes me melt, and then he can get his way. :)

Hi Jennifer. I had a dog friend that I seemed to be able to confuse by tilting my head at it in the opposite direction to its own tilt. It made it switch between the two directions. Quite strange. Maybe you should try it with George.

Dogs cock their heads to listen..thats all

You think? I'd expect a sideways cocking rather than a tilting were that so. Anyway, how do you know they are not thinking, "I wonder what that noise is and what it means?"

Humans certainly seem to do it to think, I think. I wonder why.

We do it because humans find it cute. Fools.
