Aileen's new motor

Aileen has gone all arty with her vehicle. It was nice to see her again, even if she is a bit miffed at all the attention Adrig and Edrig have been getting, what with Susan's portrait of them, the combined and extended edition and most recently an initial query about film rights. I have promised her I may return to her adventures soon, and she says if there is a film she better get a part in it. A little lizardy foot was stomping threateningly, so I had better make plans.

Well she is certainly travelling in style to gain your attention ;-)

I should perhaps clarify that she turned it upside down on that fly-by to show me the decorated top of it. The base is the same dull dark metal of a type I am unfamiliar with as can be seen around the rim. It's a shame about the glare of the sun across the image but that is how she tends to arrive, out of the sunlight in a clear blue sky. She's in the conservatory enjoying some Scottish water as we speak and pondering where she might take me on a little trip. My lady and her have been whispering a lot, which concerns me slightly. I may have a lot more to write about soon.

Oooh! Film rights! Fingers crossed!

It is promising Ashley, but it is quite common for film rights to be purchased but never used. I can't say any more. But it is promising, and interesting.

A mighty impressive craft!

I've always wondered how /why Aileen chose you and not me. But then I'm probably better off not opening up this channel.

She says I've got something you don't have Calum, and it's not hair.

I have no idea.

Can't be talent or looks. We both missed out there.

A wife?
An Oxford degree?
A job?
A house in the country?
A smartphone?
Grown-up kids?
Alien blood?

I give up! Go ask her!

I have a Cambridge degree actually. Oxford? How dare you!

I don't own a smartphone (£8.99 basic Nokia Dumbphone from Tesco my one).

We all have a bit of alien blood, don't you know?

I asked her.

Apparently she is strangely attracted to contrariness in a (hu)man as she finds attempts to contradict her highly amusing. One does need to be able to make a lady laugh (didn't you know?)

I don't know any ladies and I've only had women laugh AT me.

Thank goodness for you, Andrew.

Thank goodness for you, Andrew.

I'm so good that goodness had to be thanked twice :)

(Three time might have been more appropriate though)
