A bit too close for comfort that photo. Well, much too close. It always rather terrifies me when I see it in detail, and realise how totally dependent we are on what is basically a nuclear bomb. Interesting what hydrogen being squashed into helium (mostly) can do, using up around 620 metric tonnes of hydrogen per second, apparently... I'm glad I don't get the fuel bill (oh, quiet Andrew... the government may tax it if they hear you...)

I'm reminded of a saying from the 70s - that we'll have solar power when Exxon owns the Sun.
