This is truly cheering me up!
Surely even in Toroto it must be showing its face sometime?
Glorious. Day end or beginning?
Actually, thinking of the lie of the land, Toronto is pretty much in line with it there as it sinks in my West (or as my bit of the planet spins away from it, more like). But sunshine was on its way to you... did the clouds spoil its plans?
As my reply to Claude indicates Sue, it was day's end (and it usually is this time of the year, for it shows its face long before I do, generally).
It looks like the world is on fire!!
Sun came, Andrew, but with a fierce, cold wind. Can't face this with a walker. Really don't understand what's going on....
Thankfully it was only the sun that was on fire Cherie (if nuclear fusion counts as "fire") and thankfully it is many millions of miles away, which is all organized rather well for us, but, like dear Claude says I too "Really don't understand what's going on...." But it's probably best that way. Understanding what is going on might be too disturbing (though I know Claude was only referring to the weather, this time, but even there it may be too disturbing to know the changes on the way).
