That looks so hard to take. A cuppa and the paper - Sunday morning bliss.
Even better (for me) it was early Sunday afternoon after a long lie in, and it was a fine and creamy and very large latte. Sometimes it doesn't take much to keep me happy, while at other times nothing on Earth would work. At the times when nothing on Earth will work I have to remind myself that sometimes it takes hardly anything at all.
A bit of 'me' time no doubt.
Would you let me add a French pastry?
Might have to be a Scottish pastry at that place in Perth Claude, although the very big latte is generally sufficient for me. Come to think of it though, they have awesome and huge spiced iced Belgian Buns, which I indulge in occasionally. And Cherie, it is very considerate of me to agree to sit alone with my newspaper and coffee for an hour or so many Sundays and give my Lady peace to wander the shops. Selfless as ever, that's me.
I only need coffee with soy milk, no sugar. And a cigarette...or five.
Cigarettes? My blog was so disgusted by the very mention of them that it marked your comment as Spam. I have allowed it through now, but you are not allowed to smoke in any coffee shop (or pub, or restaurant, etc.) in this land (thank goodness). You may proceed without troubling me down in the Southern Hemisphere though :) A golfing pal of mine is a big smoker and somehow, even out in the windy open air, the smoke always seems to find its way up my nose, even when he deliberately moves around to try to avoid that. I think it is just Nature trying to annoy me (something that Nature is rather good at).
Yeah, yeah, I know it's disgusting, but I can think of worse things to do.
