The first one gets my vote :-)Although I still have an unpublished photo from my recent trip to Paris that is similar to your second photo. In it there is an uncorked beauty and by its side there is a vessel filled with amber nectar...
An uncorked beauty? Hmm...
Although I was in Paris it does hint of Bruges...
A topless Trappist?Good Lord...
It seems you know me too well...Or maybe it is the topless Trappist sitting on the table in front of me that you recognised?
You just can't resist a topless Trappist can you? But neither could I if there was one sitting on the table for me. Mais Blonde ou Bruin?
For Cherie I a surprised you didn't crack open a bottle of Kriek my dear Don.As for the trees I ook forward to the Spring version with the same title so I can write "Phwooar look at the buds on that one"
I prefer the trees. You can post as many of them as you see and I will be a happy puppy.
OK It's a deal people - you get the trees and I get the cider as I watch them as they bare themselves then bud. There is snow forecast soon too, so frozen sparkly water may make a reappearance. I could tolerate a bit of snow but not the really low temperatures. But of course I will have to tolerate what I get, or wander southwards like the migrating birds. I wish that were practical. I'd be in Northern France about now and heading for Greece.
Trees are always beautiful, in their fullness and bareness. And I'll take a sip of what you're offering. Thank you!
Oh!!!You shameless seeker of traffic!!!
Just wait for the full nakedness of winter Calum, and Holly and Ivy with birch... I have plans to make the server melt :)
For me it is always Blonde :-)
Thanks Jams, Sue and Claude. It is rare to find an ugly tree isn't it? Even those harshly hacked back by human hand can soon recover their loveliness.
I like both, Cherie. Although a barman in Brussels did once find it hilarious when I asked for a Blonde in my probably garbled French language and Scottish accent, and so I tried to tell him that Brown would be fine if he didn't have any Blonde. I did get my beer eventually, and we were both laughing, but possibly not at the same thing.
