Antigravity Grade 2 - Controlled spin

I am getting better. It works by sucking in and spitting out time and space, the asymmetry depending on the direction of rotation with respect to the galactic plane. Very confusing until you get the hang of it. A couple of passing cyclists got sucked in too and ended up 20 seconds younger than when they went in and a millimeter wider, but no real harm done. The key thing is to then spin back in the opposite direction, so that you end up with your age and size unchanged overall, but the cyclists had gone before I did that. Will they notice a millimeter of tightening in the lycra? Fortunately the thing is fitted with dual controls so Aileen was ready to take over if I spun out of control and we just kept on getting bigger and bigger and younger and younger, or smaller and smaller and older and older. I did fancy giving that a go just for a laugh but she insisted it would end up as no laughing matter. Once I get to fly solo we can expect some fun though.

More of a barrel roll than controlled spin perhaps and the narrative certainly sounds to me to have been inspired by the content of a barrel! The pictures look good though, from any angle. My regards to Aileen, happy aerobating to you both.

Hello John. No forward movement hence a spin not a barrel roll, which is the next level up, and no booze barrel involved as you have to be completely sober to fly these things, and also completely sane. Apparently the little visitors find it very difficult to find any completely sane humans, reporting that humans are mostly infected with irrational beliefs and wild delusions, so they were very lucky to find me, eh? I could send them to check you out, if you wish, but they may be confused by what they find.

Glad to see your skills are improving but I bet that Aileen is still covering her eyes with her hands !

It's funny to see little green knuckles turn white Jams.

Inasmuch as I seem to come across very few sane humans these days I reckon I may have something in common with your little chums.

I rather suspect that you have John, and also with me, however unsettling such a thought may be.

I do believe that you're improving. And, somehow, I will be very relieved when you're allowed to fly ONLY solo.
I rather like Aileen. I wish her safe.

I'm also very happy that nice Dulcinea (whose photo adorns the sidebar) is not part of that training. And somehow, I don't think that you should be allowed in a laboratory. On this photo, you have a deadly look in your eyes, and your hands appear very unsteady. I'm expecting the Boum to resonate all the way across the sea.

Maybe Aileen (under the hood) will save the world. I pray....

Wow, a man would have to go to Scotland to see a scene like that.

Now I am getting a little worried when Aileen is impersonating your dear Dulcinea...

They've never been seen together in the same room Cherie, and that's a fact, and probably just as well. Although there was that mad dream Dulcinea had about waking up in the middle of the night as she lay beside the sleeping me, and seeing a strange little creature peering in through the half open door. She says it was the most realistic dream she's ever experienced, and that is all true. Strange eh? Of course, Dulcinea has read my little book, but she thinks it has all just been made up for a laugh. I do hope there is no trouble ahead.

I do suspect the world has more to fear from little Aileen than from me, Claude, although fearing us both might be most appropriate.

We also have to remember Dragonfly...

Even Aileen would find it hard to fathom those lyrics :)

I am glad it is not just me that finds these things complicated!!
