So lovely. So different to the flora in Australia. I still miss English trees (yes, I realise these ones are Scottish) and twilight. (I came to Australia from England in 1974.)

Yes, rough Scottish trees these Synco, not nearly as refined as their English cousins, but pleasant enough so long as you don't try to interfere with their wild ways :)

They are delightful trees. The don't look wild to me... If they are that means the English trees are very tame and boring, which explains why I have struggled to get good photographs of them this year...

I do think the Autumn colours are particularly vivid this year Cherie, as they were predicted to be a few weeks ago by those who claim to know how rainfall and temperature patterns affect such things. The same type of people are predicting a hard cold winter, about which I would prefer them to be wrong. But if the snow and ice comes it will appear here.
