I'm a bit puzzled!
Well the truth, Claude, which nobody will believe, is that this is the interface between several adjacent realities that I can jump between with the assistance of my little friends. But it has also been pointed out to me that the image bears some similarity to the effect created by mirrors on facing walls of the wash basin area of the Gents toilet in Kelvingrove Museum. But that is just a bizarre coincidence, of course.
Either way it shows you a place you are not really meant to see Claude :)
I've already seen Scottish Gents' toilet on your old blog. I remember the outcry. I didn't think you would repeat the experience. You're lucky you have many universes to jump into when you get in trouble.
Yes of course. I remember now. And that old visit to the Gents is still visible on this unified blog via the archives in the sidebar (April 2009, "Victorian Technology" post http://donquiscottieblog.blogspot.co.uk/2009/04/victorian-technology.html)
And, looking back, I see my face was fatter then. I am about 28 pounds lighter today. Age CAN bring improvement! I am much cheered :)
But... the link no longer reveals the magnificent Victorian porcelain. Boo Hoo. I will fix that right away by inserting a photo.
Are you sure that you are not really an alien yourself Andrew
Re Victorian Toilets, I actually just updated the link to a site with even better views of the magnificence on display
Jams, I am sure of nothing, but of course there are things I think I probably know, and that I write down, but nobody believes me. "Aileen the Alien", which you have read (thanks), is of course the true story that I was forced to pretend is fiction. The sequel is half done, and will strain foolish human credulity even farther. Why can everybody not be as sensible as me? Why?
Please, just tell me the year, the month, the date for the link. I don't know how to use your link. Thanks.
I know you're not one of us. But you're not one of them either. You have a serious problem.
Thursday, 16 April 2009 Claude. Enjoy your visit to the Gents :)
Thanks for the "serious problem" diagnosis nurse Claude. Now... what's the treatment and what's the prognosis?
I think ths image is terrific!
Now this is strange. I received an auto-email of a comment by Syncopated Eyeball but it is not here, and even if later deleted by the author a message to that effect would remain. Where has it gone? Into one of the adjacent realities? Anyway, I am glad you liked the image Synco. Maybe the comment has been delayed in a spacetime pile-up.
And if mirrors (like cameras) catch and steal a little of the soul - what do multiple mirrors do?
Not sure there is anything left in me for them to catch any more.
